James Leverington, head coach
James, a No10 by trade, played competitive National League 1 rugby for more than 12 years, with Blackheath, Colfeians and Barking. He also gained international experience, enjoying a year playing in New Zealand for Oriental Orongati in Wellington , in 1995.
Later, he put his experience to good use, coaching the backs at National League Barking for two seasons. James says he has a passion for fitness and psychology and he is keen to bring those aspects more and more into the amateur rugby game. He strongly believes that is where games are won and lost. James has a Diploma in Sports Psychology and is a professional personal trainer and fitness coach for Virgin Active in Bromley.
