Following the tragic death of Simon McNamara of a heart attack in  July  2008, Family, School and Durham University friends set up a touring side to help keep the memory of Si alive.   The Pinks have played several matches, w ith the aim of raising money for  C -R-Y    (Cardiac Risk in the Young), who   both  supported   the  McNamara family after his death   and continue to raise the profile of Sudden Adult Death.
