Under 5s
Sevenoaks RFC encourages children, both boys and girls, to become involved in rugby from an early age and in developing the social and team skills that make for a succesful year group.
With that goal in mind, we do take in some children who are in 'Reception' (ie are aged four at the start of, but who will be five during, the coming season) to take part in the same schedule of activities undertaken by those in the Under 6s (in other words the 'Year Ones'). The decision to include a child who is in 'Reception' will be down to the parents believing that the child is ready, the coaches concurring with that and then monitoring the child's progress in the sessions.
